A woman jeweler who dreams of volcanoes

The young brand Atelier Basaalt has started its first creations in 2018, at that time only for a circle of close friends, spring 2022 Catherine visits Lokal, for the first time she decides to expose her pieces in a boutique and make a leap from online to a physical space.

The beginning of a partnership that for the second time takes place this winter season spring 2023. As in the first edition, Catherine's jewels are appreciated from outside our store, many enter curious and quickly attracted by her jewels but also by the name of the brand.

Why Atelier Basaalt ? Catherine Cremer its creator did her studies in chemistry and has always dreamed of volcanology, Basalt is the extrusive igneous rockformed from the rapid cooling of low-viscosity lava, more than 90% of all volcanic rock on Earth is basalt.

The transformation as lava into rock, is what this young creator is passionate about, every time she enters our store she presents us a new piece that does not resemble at all to the previous one, new techniques, new work tools and a lot of creativity in the design make her brand become one of the most loved by our customers.
